I think it is great to have a new and exciting conversation with somebody I have never met before. I think our greatest experiences are when we meet somebody for the very first time. We can start to conversate and find out that we really enjoy each other’s company. Some of my most fulfilling relationships have been the result of successful conversations with total strangers. I have also developed some of my most profitable business relationships this way. This is probably why I love networking events.

Many people dread entering new social or business networking situations. I know how that feels. I was not always so out going. I was once very introverted until I learned that I would receive what I put out. Then I had to learn how to put out pleasant conversation. The kind that makes the other person say “give me more”. But I did not know how to do it. How do you go from a person nobody wants to hear; to having people hang on your every word? I knew that success in any area depends upon the system in which you operate. I was operating a system of bad conversation.
